Have you heard any of their older albums ? I think they have like four others.
I was wondering if they sound like that on their older albums or have they progressed to that. Some of those songs are bordering on country. Or maybe folk?
I haven't really sat down to listen to the entire new album, but I'd love to buy more of their albums if the same howling guitars are present. Man I love that voice too.

Yeah, they've got four full-lenghts in total. Their older stuff isn't really like OBTN I think they change their sound from album to album, but Caleb even said that it was so far from what they've done. It's more like 'Southern rock' I guess. It's just a different sound, but it's still good. All the elements are there, but in a different way...

Thanks so much! I'll keep that in mind. I'd love to hear them before I decide. And I bet they are great live! They were great on SNL. I hope they decide to come to Tucson. I'll have to see.....thanks again!

Oh! I know....I saw the one where they're talking about *ahem* (sitting on your kids)...they are standing around a fire and their mom is telling a story. OMG that was hilarious!
I don't have the fastest computer but I'll definitely check them out.
I just bought Because Of The Times , you're right the elements are still there. Matthew is an excellent guitarist, their sound is so cool. I love the video for On Call. Looks like they're playing in front of the northern lights. Maybe it's suppose to look like that. At any rate....I love it!
Oh and I just found out they go by their middle names for the band. That's pretty cool.

Yeah, I thought the whole middle name thing was interesting. But Because of the Times is really good. From Aha Shake Heartbreak it's a real change. It's insane how different their sound is on each album.

Yeah...I'm going backwards...I think I'll get Aha Shake Heartbreak soon....I've heard Molly's Chamber and thought it was cool.
They are excellent musicians regardless. I love Matt....they're all cool, but there's a special place for him in my heart. That guitar playing almost brings me to tears....I don't know why.
I'm glad they can change their sound and still rock....Their music makes me smile
