I always pictured Edward's broze hair with a slight curl to it, more like the era he was "born" in... SM never mentioned if vampires could change their hair style and what not. I also picture him more muscular, angular... not so skinny, thin...
Bella...haha... I always pictured myself... so vain, but, my picture is posted in the other thread... my friend thinks I look like her... *ahem* maybe just a touch taller, with higher cheeks and a more straight body.
Rosalie... so much prettier in my mind. Silkly, almost platinum blonde hair with a slight wave that frams her face with a small nose and heart shaped lips. I don't think there is anyone who could be as pretty as she's suppose to be.
I always felt that Alice should have red hair... the pixie cut never fit her...
Esme... I don't think the woman in the movie is pretty... I just never have... something about her face is odd to me... but, I always pictured her with short, perfectly waved 20's hair with an angelic face, like an old movie star.
Emmet, line backer, haha, with black hair.
Jasper, akwardly tall and thin with a sort of aloof charm... Dark blonde hair that was long, sort of hippy-ish.
Carlise has always looked "average" dr handsome. Perfectly coifed blonde hair, "glasses" perfect teeth, high cheek bones...etc.
And yeah, that's my 2 cents |

Kristen Stewart was exactly how I imagined Bella looking- kinda plain, but also kinda beautiful
Rob was exactly how I imagined Jacob, coz I think he looks to masculine and muscular to be an elegant vampire.
I imagined a younger Orlando Bloom (LOTR style) as Edward. Bronze = white blonde :P
Emmett and Jasper, I imagined as Crabbe and Goyle, but much more attractive.
Rosalie I imagined younger and prettier, like Scarlett Johanson.
Esme, I imagined like Esmeralda, thin, delicate figure and long dark curly hair, and olive skin.
I have too active an imagination to accurately read descriptions :P |

Hmm. I guess for Edward, I pictured a more "James Dean" type. More clean cut and taller. Not that I don't think Rob is attractive, but I think he is more attractive in real life than he is in the movie.
I think Kristen Stewart pretty much fit the picture of Bella that I had in my head. And it's funny, because I think she is more attractive as Bella than she is in real life. She looks kinda sloppy in real life, IMO.
The girl who played Alice also fit the Alice in my head, although maybe my version of Alice was a little bit tinier - not that the actress wasn't tiny enough.
I pictured Jasper taller.
Movie Emmett matched my Emmett.
Rosalie was a little off - I pictured her as a natural blond, thinner, and prettier. Almost like a Holly Madison type, but obviously she would be "natural" while clearly Holly is not.
Ummm Esme, I didn't really have too concrete a vision of her, so I guess Elizabeth Reaser fit my image.
Carlisle, well, I think I pictured someone younger and more attractive than Peter Facinelli. I think he is handsome, but he looked all kinds of wrong with all that makeup on in an attempt to make him look pale. It was too distracting. |
