haha
i know about that. my school did the lamest musical ever last year, and i was in it, and got totally attached.
occasionally one of the songs pops up on my ipod and i change it quickly and feel slightly embarassed.
gah. it was so fun, though.
i love the theatre!

My school did Hello Dolly this year. It was ok. I was in it (townsperson! Whoo Hoo!) The songs were alright but, one rehearsal we did one dance (Put on Your Sunday Clothes) like 10 times! The cast was so sick of that song after that!

My school's doing West Side Story this year.
In the years I've been there, they've done Calamity Jane and Sweet Charity.
They've also done A Midsummer Night's Dream, to a soundtrack made up of Beatles songs.

AND, I know I've said this a gazillion times but:
YES! Wicked is beyond incredible.

They've done Sweeny Todd and Little Women as far as musicals go since I've been there.
I need to know what I'm getting myself into next year, though.
It could either be brilliant or disasterous.

Same.
So last year it was "The Lion, the Witch and Room 66", my drama teacher's own version of Narnia.
Set in a modern war.

It sounded awful.
I didn't even bother going to see it.

My school was supposed to do Dames at Sea but our teacher cancelled it because she didn't think it was going well.
What a flake.
I love musicals.
The school I was at before was well known for theirs

I haven't seen the stage version, but my friend adores it so I'm sure I'll be seeing the film at some point!

We probably won't finish this, but we started on a musical in Italian today.
I have no idea what it's called.
It's about some girl named Claire Johnson that visits Italy in the 50's with her mother.
She meets and falls in love with a guy named Fabrizio.
I can't even spell this guy's name. Rolling Eyes

What I really want to see is "Joseph" and "Tarzan & Jane"!
Has anyone seen them already?

My friend saw Joseph a few weeks ago, and said it was brilliant.
But that's probably got a lot to do with the fact that she has a huge crush on the lead actor :]
